Creative workshops will be available for everyone all weekend.

Workshops include leaf pounding, spirographs, mandalas and giant bunting making throughout the three days.

Who we are: We are a group of Art therapists working across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. We practice  in a variety of settings including the NHS, school, charities and private practice and are all members of the British Association of Art Therapists (www.baat.org). As a regional group we meet during the year for learning, sharing and creating together.

This exhibition is an opportunity to share our personal art works, some of which are response to our practice and others a response to the world around us: both inside and out.

About Art Therapy: Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy which uses both art and words to enable individuals and groups to communicate and explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences safely.

Within this context, art is not used as diagnostic tool but as a medium to address emotional issues which may be confusing and distressing.

Art therapists work with children, young people, adults and the elderly. Clients may have a wide range of difficulties, disabilities or diagnoses. These include emotional, behavioural or mental health problems, learning or physical disabilities, life-limiting conditions, neurological conditions and physical illnesses.
